Tentative Agenda
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - Maddy will be on hand to greet you in the hospitality suite - room 1130. After you check in, come on over to say hello - meet other arrivals, pick up a program, have a snack, pick up your convention head vase and see list of which dealers are selling from their rooms.

Thursday, January 15th - Pre-registration for early arrivals in pre function area 7:00 P.M. Followed by in house sale in the dealers rooms.

Friday, Jauary 16th - Optional bus trip to Renninger's Extravaganza 8:15 A.M.

Friday, January 16th - Registration and Hospitality Get-together, Name Badges, Dessert, Cash bar in pre function area 6:30 P.M. Short presentation by Debbie Kaspari of United Design and door prizes. Next Donald Brian Johnson, Jim Petzold and Tim Holthaus present their new book Ceramic Arts Studio The Legacy of Betty Harrington. Last but not least, the delightful Dave Barron has some audience participation games. First, a contest where participants can dress up as their favorite head vase. Prizes for the winners, of course. Next comes the Newly Head Game. You don't want to miss this fun filled evening!

Saturday, January 17th - Sale & Swap Meet 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
Coffee and Cake 9:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M.

Cash bar in pre function 6:30 P.M. - Hot Chicken Dinner 7:30 P.M. followed by awards presentations and door prizes. Head vase multi media presentation by Dave Barron rounds out the evening.

Sunday, January 18th - Optional Hot Buffet Breakfast 8:45 A.M. featuring Kathleen Cole's "Repairing Head Vases". All-american Buffet coupons are approximately $10 per person inclusive of tax and gratuity and can be purchased at hotel only at Saturday's Sale.

About Renningers Extravaganza (Friday, January 16)
The world renowned Renninger's Antique and Collectible Extravaganza in both Pennsylvania and New York, offers some of the greatest treasure hunting the East Coast has to offer. Not by accident the head vase convention coincides with Florida's Winter Extravaganza. With over 1,200 dealers it is Florida's largest antiques and collectibles show. Hotel Information
The Radisson has a new room reservation system. How many rooms they hold for us in November is determined by how many reservations are made by October 31st. So please, make your hotel reservations early - don't be shut out. The hotel usually fills its weekends in January and headhunters have been turned away in the past. You also risk losing the $69 convention room rate and have to pay $140 or more. Remember you must cancel your room 72 hours prior to arrival. If you have a last minute emergency, talk to both the hotel and to Maddy.

The hotel is the beautiful Raddison Resort Parkway; registration fee is $72.00 per person if postmarked by 11/10. After November 10th the cost is $82 per person - no exceptions. Please return registration forms as
soon as possible in order to make name badges and other arrangements in a timely fashion. Remember; fee fully refundable up to 48 hours before the convention. Free bus from hotel to Disney Attractions.

Registration Fee
$72.00 per person, to cover the cost of Friday Night Hospitality Get Together, use of banquet facility all day Saturday for Show & Sale, coffee and cake during show from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon, Saturday Night buffet

Arrangements have beeen made with Delta airlines meeting network for discount travel. The file number is 196771A.

Delta Air Lines is offering special rates which allow you a 5% discount of Delta's published round-trip fares within the Continental U.S., Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, San Juan, Nassau, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. By purchasing your ticket 60 days or more prior to your departure date, you can receive an additional 5% bonus discount.

A 15% discount will be offered on Delta's domestic system for travel to the meeting based on the published unrestricted round-trip coach (Y06) rates. No advance reservations or ticketing is required, but if you purchase your ticket 60 days or more prior to your departure date, you can receive an additional 5% bonus discount.
